Federal Financial Aid – Federal Student Loans
Contrary to popular belief, the federal government also administers loan programs. Colleges determine student eligibility for loans. They include that eligibility in your award letter. Always remember, that you should always seek and apply for all federal, state, institutional and private grants and scholarships first. Private or Federal Loans should be the last resort. Loans are not a FREE MONEY. They must be repaid with interest. The following federal loans are available to students applying for student financial Aid.
- Perkins Loan
- Direct Subsidized Stafford Loan
- Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
- Direct PLUS Loan
